Hail, More Rain & Harvest Prep
The morning of April 18th brought a nice little hail storm through Miles. Luckily, it was pretty soft and super small, and wheat was still green enough not to have much damage.
Dairy Farm place.
Northwest of Miles didn’t get any hail but has had plenty of rain - over 5” since April 12th. Wheat is looking good!
Installing concave closure bands (for stripper head wheat).
Wiped down the interior - clean as a whistle.
New globe on and TCM calibrated.
Header hooked on for the first time!
Little rubbing on the corner of the header plate where the feederhouse bumps up against from a previous weld on the header….having to burn the bead off in that spot.
New teeth going in.
Hand washed and dried.
